Chair Cover Information

Chairs and chair covers are ordered in pairs.

The covers are loose covers, meaning they are not permanently attached to the chairs and can be removed for cleaning or simply to replace them with new covers. They are however, a tight fit to give the appearance of an upholstered chair. The covers will be placed in the box with your chairs for you to fit. Please see below for fitting instructions.

Fitting Information

Chair covers are supplied in the box with the chair for you to fit.

Place the cover over the top of the chair back, making sure that the seams line up with the edges of the chair. Ease the cover down the chair back - it is meant to be a snug fit.

Make sure that the chair cover is fitted fully down the back of the chair, pushing the cover into the gap between the seat base and back to give a tight, smooth fit. Pull the seat section over the chair seat and secure underneath the chair with the Velcro tabs making sure that the edges and corners align to get a perfect fit.

If any of the seams become twisted remove the cover and start again.

Cleaning

Chair covers should always be dry-cleaned to minimise shrinkage and to maintain the flame retardant finish. Carefully remove the cover and take to a professional dry cleaner. Do not wash or apply water or solvents to the chair cover as this may damage the finish. After cleaning, re-fit the covers as described above.

Chair covers should also be vacuumed regularly using a soft brush attachment.

Manufacturing

To comply with current safety regulations, all chair covers are made using fabric which has been treated with a flame retardant finish to BS 5852 part 1.1979 ignition source 0 (cigarette) & BS5852 part 1. 1979 ignition source 1 (match). The chair is covered in a schedule 3 interliner.

Please note that the flame retardant finish can result in slight colour loss versus the samples provided.
